Biznomik: Journal of Business & Economic Studies is a scientific, peer-reviewed journal focusing on research in business and economics. Positioned as an academic platform, Biznomik promotes the development of theory, empirical analysis, and critical studies on economic and business issues at the global level. Every submission undergoes double-blind peer review to ensure credibility, rigor, and relevance to current developments in markets, policy, and industry practice.

3. Article Types

  • Original Research (max 15 pages) — theoretical, empirical, or mixed-methods studies.
  • Review Articles (max 20 pages) — systematic/scoping reviews, meta-analyses.
  • Short Communications — concise reports of novel findings or policy-relevant insights.
  • Case Studies / Industry Notes — evidence-based analyses with clear managerial/policy implications.
  • Methods Notes / Datasets — instruments, protocols, curated datasets for business/economic research.
Page limits exclude appendices and supplementary files hosted in repositories.

4. Editorial & Peer Review

  • Process: double-blind review with ≥ 2 independent reviewers.
  • Integrity: similarity screening (Turnitin/iThenticate); redundant publication and self-plagiarism are prohibited.
  • Ethics: human-subject/firm-level data require ethics and confidentiality statements; disclose methods and limitations transparently.
  • Transparency: authors provide CRediT roles, funding, conflicts of interest, data availability, and (where applicable) preregistration.

5. Open Access & Licensing

Biznomik provides immediate open access to all content. Articles are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0), allowing sharing and adaptation with appropriate credit.

6. Archiving & Preservation

Long-term digital preservation is ensured through PKP PN/LOCKSS. Article metadata and full-text are interoperable and harvestable via OAI-PMH.

7. Data, Code & Materials

  • Deposit data (e.g., replication datasets), code, and materials (where legally/contractually possible) in trusted repositories (e.g., Zenodo, OSF, Figshare) with a DOI/URL.
  • Cite datasets/software in the References using recognized data/software citation formats.
  • For confidential or proprietary data, provide a restricted-access statement with justification and, where feasible, a metadata record.

8. Indexing & Metadata

  • All accepted articles receive a Crossref DOI; DOI activation occurs before or at online publication.
  • Rich metadata (license, ORCID, ROR affiliations, funding, references, and data/software citations) are deposited to Crossref.

9. Submission & Template

  1. Prepare your manuscript per the Author Guidelines (structured abstract, references with DOIs, CRediT, ethics, data availability).
  2. Use the official template (.docx) and ensure tables/figures are cited and captioned; report robustness checks where applicable.
  3. Register/Login to OJS and complete metadata (authors’ ORCID, affiliations with ROR, funding).
  4. Upload the manuscript and supplementary files (e.g., datasets/code DOIs, preregistration, approvals).
