Publication Schedule

Lexoria: Journal of Law & Justice Studies is published twice a year: January–June and July–December.

Manuscripts are accepted year-round (rolling submission). The schedule below serves as a target and may adjust to editorial capacity, special issues, and indexing requirements.

1. Frequency & Issue Periods

  • Issue No. 1 (January–June) — published no later than the end of June.
  • Issue No. 2 (July–December) — published no later than the end of December.
  • Submission window: open throughout the year (rolling basis).
Special issues may follow a separate timeline announced via the journal’s official notices.

2. Timeline & Submission Deadlines (Targets)

To support timely scheduling, the following recommended cut-off dates apply:

No. 1 January–June by 31 March no later than 30 June
No. 2 July–December by 30 September no later than 31 December
Submissions received after the recommended dates will be processed for the next issue, unless otherwise stated by the Editorial Office.

3. Editorial Process & SLAs

  • Desk screening (scope & completeness): approx. 3–5 business days.
  • Double-blind peer review (≥2 reviewers): approx. 4–6 weeks.
  • Author revision (if requested): approx. 2–3 weeks.
  • Copyediting and layout/proof: approx. 2–3 weeks.
  • DOI & online publication: Crossref DOI is activated before or at final online posting.
The SLAs above are average targets and may vary with submission volume and reviewer availability. Status updates are communicated via OJS and email.
