Please review the responsibilities, editorial pathway, and checklist below to ensure a smooth submission.
Submissions are first screened by an editor for fit with the journal’s aims & scope. Suitable manuscripts proceed to double-blind peer review.
Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of the journal. Manuscripts deemed suitable will be sent for peer review before a decision is made to accept or reject.
Important: Ensure your study design, argumentation, title, and abstract are clear and coherent. A concise title and a stand-alone abstract increase the likelihood that expert reviewers agree to evaluate your paper.
An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum quality standards or falls outside the scope. Submissions that pass editorial screening will undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers. Decisions (accept / revise / reject) are communicated with reasons.
All submissions must satisfy the requirements below before they are sent for review.
Submissions that do not meet these checks may be returned to authors for correction prior to peer review.
Authors must ensure that their manuscripts comply with the journal’s Author Guidelines and the following preparation checklist. Confirming these items helps prevent delays and supports a smooth editorial workflow.
Please verify that your submission meets all of the following requirements:
Tip: Ensure your ORCID (all authors) and ROR IDs (affiliations) are provided on the title page, and include a Data Availability statement where applicable.
